Quick tip of the week: Before you say yes to any new solution, run a 15-minute fit scorecard with the people who’ll actually use it. Set a timer and answer five fast checks: (1) Job-to-be-done: what exact task does it improve? (2) Inputs: what data does it need, and do you already have it in usable shape? (3) Workflow: where does it live in the day-to-day (and what step does it replace, not add)? (4) Ownership: who maintains it, approves it, and trains the team? (5) Proof: what’s one “before/after” metric you can measure in 2 weeks (time saved, fewer revisions, fewer escalations)? If you can’t score it clearly, it’s not a “no”, it’s a not yet. Save it, refine the requirements, and protect your coherence.
